# About Goods receipts

## About Goods receipt

The **Goods Receipt** is commonly used as part of the inventory and procurement process, helping businesses maintain accurate stock records, monitor incoming deliveries, and ensure traceability of warehouse movements.

In Elorus, **Goods Receipts** can be used to easily update the stock levels of products in your organization's warehouse.

Updating stock levels through **Goods Receipts** requires that [Products](/int/docs/add-productsservices) have already been created in the organization’s inventory and that [Stock Management](/int/docs/stock-management) is enabled for each product.
