Edit
In case some information was filed incorrectly when creating a tax, you have the option to edit it. Keep in mind that if a tax is associated with a document, some fields will not be modifiable (e.x. Tax percentage).
To edit taxes from the main menu, click on “Settings” -> “Taxes” select tax and “Edit” as shown in the picture below.
Tax Deletion
When a created Tax contains errors in fields that could not be edited, or it will no longer be used, you can delete them instead.
For a tax to be successfully deleted, there must be no documents associated with it. If the tax has been used, you can archive it by following the steps in the next article.
To delete a tax from the “Settings” -> “Taxes” menu, click on the tax and press“Edit”. Then, you press “Delete” tax as shown in the picture below.
Mass Deletion
If you want to delete multiple taxes at the same time, from the “Settings” -> “Taxes” menu you can select the taxes you want to delete and then from the “Actions” option you can choose “Delete Selected”.

Archive
For the sake of data integrity, if a tax is already used in - at least - one document, Elorus doesn’t allow the tax to be edited or deleted. In this case, you can proceed with archiving. With this action, the taxes you select will be displayed in the archived records, as shown in the image below:
To archive a tax from the “Settings” -> “Taxes” menu click on the tax and then by clicking on the 3 dots (...) you can archive the record, as shown in the picture below:
Mass Archive
If you want to archive multiple taxes at the same time, from the “Settings” -> “Taxes” menu you can select the taxes you want to archive and then from the ‘’Actions’’ option you can choose “Archive Selected” as shown below:
Archive Activation
In case a tax was archived by accident or needs to be activated again, you can do so by clicking on the archived records from the Settings -> Taxes menu as shown in the picture below and then choose the ‘’Activate Selected’’ option.
