Notifications are one of the many features of Elorus, designed to keep you informed of changes related to your account. You can receive Notifications either in-app and/or via email, even in Slack.
What is being sent
Being an Elorus user, you get notified whenever any of the following events occur:
Online payments
When clients pay an invoice, or even their full amount due. This includes failed payment attempts.
Client actions
When clients view the invoices, estimates or credit notes you send them
When clients accept or reject the estimates you send them.
When clients modify their data via the client portal.
Overdue invoices
When due dates for sales or even purchase invoices arrive.
Recurring invoices
When a new sales invoice, purchase invoice etc. is generated based on the time schedule you have created.
Bank cheques
When post-dated cheques expire.
Account management
A number of notifications are also sent whenever your subscription is upgraded / downgraded, or new users accept / reject invitations to access your account etc.
Recipients
Notifications are always related to a specific organization. They're sent to all its users, as long as they have permission to modify the corresponding section in the application.
For example, an administrator will always receive notifications for overdue invoices. A partner, on the other hand, won't receive them, since he cannot modify the invoice data.
Notification channels
You may set up the channels through which you want to receive notifications.
In-app
Notifications are always sent in-app and can be viewed by clicking the bell icon located at the top right of your organization's page.
The option to enable / disable email notifications can be found in your User profile settings. This setting is related to notifications for all organizations that you might be a member of.
Slack
You may use Elorus4Slack to get notifications on Slack. Unlike the email setting, Elorus4Slack controls notifications per organization.
